Couples Supervision Group

for Psychotherapists & Counsellors,

led by Jane Gotto, UKCP Registered Psychotherapist

This supervision group is for experienced, practising couples’ therapist’s, who are looking for supervision within a group setting. It is also suitable for experienced individual therapists, who are moving into building their couple’s work.

Group supervision provides a confidential environment to learn more about yourself and your work and grow through this experience.

Jane explains, “During my 30 years of running The Terrace, Humanistic Psychotherapy and Complementary Health Centre, I see that therapists who are well supported do better, feel more confident and work more effectively for themselves, their clients, and with their peers. This supervision group supports this process providing an environment to explore, grow, learn new skills for yourself and be there to support others in this same process.”

Jane’s training was with Terry Cooper and Jenner Roth at Spectrum Therapy, drawing from different humanistic models, with a particular focus on Stanley Keleman’s Formative Psychology and including Gestalt work with Marty Fromm, Family and couples work with Evan Imber Black of the Ackerman Institute, and Virginia Satir’s PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) programme for couples and family work.

Jane is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist with 30 years’ experience and a recognised Spectrum supervisor and group leader.

This on-going group meets in person, once a month on Monday mornings, from 10.30am-12.30pm, with a maximum of 5 participants. Dates are set termly, and the cost is £150 for a three-session term, or £200 for a four-session term. Jane also offers couples supervision on an individual basis.
